Dear members and applicants

It's the time of the year to start collecting dues for the upcoming year.

Our clubs dues this year are $45.00 for a snowmobile family membership or $25.00 for non-snowmobile family membership.  

A business membership (tax deductible) is $60.00, which includes an ad in the Snow Scoop newspaper, distributed to all snowmobilers and businesses. Or a $30 for a non-snowmobile membership.

With these funds the Colorado Snowmobile Association provides insurance for our club snowmobile related events, group insurance for our groomer, as well as a voice heard on both a state and national level.

We are actively working with the U.S. Forest Service as well as other agencies to build a better trail network and facilities for our area. Our club was instrumental in design and construction of the new handicap access trail at Tucker Ponds. This past spring we replaced the wooden docks with plastic floating docks.

We need to continue to grow and would like to ask all members to help us. Each member's commitment should be to bring one new member to the club this year. We welcome everyone who enjoys the great outdoor activities.

 We encourage everyone to register their snowmobiles and ATV’s. This is where the money comes from to groom our trails. Without the registration funds received, the trail systems in the forests would not be in the shape they are in today. All users should be pleased that this work is done not by tax dollars, but by the funds received from registration of snowmobiles and ATV's.

Our club meetings are at 7:00 pm, preceded by a potluck supper starting at 6:30 pm on the third Tuesday of the month at the South Fork Community Center. We organize rides during the year for both snowmobiles and ATV's. We would love to have other members get involved and organize horseback, snowshoeing, X-C skiing, backpacking, hiking, rafting or any one of a hundred other outdoor activities available to us.

Our Club has designed a recreational map for the South Fork area; this map has been very well received, to the extent that the initial 5000 copies are almost gone after only 6 months. We will continue to work hard to do things that allow all people to enjoy the outdoors.

Please help us make our club all it can be. Your support is appreciated and needed even is you can't make every meeting.
