Snow Scoop

Silverthread Outdoor Recreation Club

District 7

Well we are so glad to report that we have finally received some snow. It was probably not enough to get the snowmobiles out, but, at least it was snow. Plus, we have a good chance, according to the weathermen, for more this weekend.

We had a great Thanksgiving Day in South Fork. Lots of our club members had family in for the weekend and some even got some skiing in at Wolf Creek, although it was minimal snow.

Our club is planning the club Christmas Celebration for December 15th at the Community Building in South Fork. We will have lots of good food, a gift exchange and lots of fun for everyone who attends. We always have a great time and lots of laughs. Come join us, if you are brave enough.

We all need to keep the "Snow Dance" going, so we will be able to get those machines out soon.

Wishing everyone a very Happy and Joyful Holiday Season. For those who are traveling, we wish you safe travel time.

Take care and be safe!! We wish everyone a Happy New Year for 2008!!

Happy Holidays,

Elizabeth Baugh
