Snow Scoop

Silverthread Outdoor Recreation Club

District 7

September 2007

Fall is in the air around South Fork. The Aspens are turning and there is lots of beautiful color in the mountains. Some people have reported seeing snow on Del Norte Peak and the surrounding high mountain tops of late.

Our club has been busy this summer with community projects and just playing and having fun. It is hard to think about snow and the upcoming snowmobile season with all this beautiful weather. The guys are talking about grooming trails and servicing the Groomer even though it could be a while before they can use it.

Our club meets year round on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at the Community Building in South Fork. A Pot Luck meal is at 6:30 pm with a business meeting following. We welcome anyone to come and meet with us, you might enjoy it so much you would want to join our club.

We are looking forward to a great snow season and hopefully lots of good snowmobiling weather. Everyone needs to think SNOW!!

Be safe.
