Food will be sold hot dogs and pop for $1.00. Memberships will be available and also the knives that are being sold (Fund Raiser). (2) ATV Poker Run- there is no response on the permit, the insurance issue still hasn’t been resolved- Dennis will be going to a meeting on Thursday to ask the Town of South Fork if they could help. (3) A letter was read from the Town of South Fork thanking the Club for all the help and serving lunch to over 100 people. The Club will be asked to help again next year.New Business:
Parade on July 3rd- the insurance is to be reinstated by July 1 and Sonny Hiett will drive the Club truck pulling the Snow-cat. Helpers are needed to load the Cat and place banners on Friday morning 9 am. (2) The letter from SW Tours- our Club received $150, Powderbusters received $100, after discussion a motion was made by Wayne Jefferson to divide the difference ( $25) by sending a check to Powderbusters, second by Sonny Hiett, motion carried. Le Will send a letter and the check. (3) Potties- repairs are needed, the pallets are in bad shape and need to be replaced. This is what the potties are mounted to. Browns were to have cleaned them today but did not. It was suggested that if they were cleaned in time one trailer would be taken to the Rummage Sale on Friday. There was also a suggestion that it would be more convenient to have a couple of more trailers so they wouldn’t have to be lifted off the trailers when put into the forest. Some research can be done on this during the summer. (4) September will be the month that the Club will host the Community Potluck, the second Tuesday. The question arose if we wanted to check into perhaps having a dance band perform? Dennis has a contact and will check into a cost as everyone seemed receptive to the idea. (5) Someone had a question on Directories for membership, a short discussion followed. Membership lists will be available at the next meeting.50/50:
There was $19 in the kitty, therefore, the winner will receive $9.50 and the Club $9.50. The winner was our guest Dillon Canfield.Quilt:
A quilt was displayed, made by the Silver Threads Quilting Guild in which several ladies in the Club are members. Chances were available for sale. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned.
